Our Team
Tim co-founded this 501(c)(3) charitable organization with the intent to assist business, nonprofit, and government leaders with improving the effectiveness and efficiency of their efforts. It is all built on improving trust, based on his firsthand experience working in the White House to supporting those without a house. The end result: stronger organizations and communities.
Tim Underwood - Chief Executive Officer
Frank Adames - Chief Technology Officer
Frank is a 2025 40 Under 40 award nominee, a 2022 National Volunteer In Service to America (VISTA) alumni winner, and our tech lead. Frank assists with the ongoing Project Management of the H1S Check-ins technology. He enjoys solving complex problems with technology that helps others. You can also find him performing in salsa dance competitions.
Damien Bérubé - AI Innovation Lead
Damien is a doctoral researcher in chemical physics at Harvard, where he seeks new ways to build the next generation of robust and efficient quantum computers that can deliver results for chemistry, cybersecurity, materials, and biotechnology. In parallel, he is pursuing a career in science, technology, and innovation policy, has authored case studies and contributed to state legislation, and loves baking all the French breads and pastries imaginable. He is currently helping H1S implement AI tools that will strengthen the communities served.
Tamecia McKenzie - Community Partnership Lead
Tamecia leads the community outreach growth of H1S, by managing our team's outreach efforts. This includes ensuring we are actively reaching out to identify potential key partners to further strengthen the communities we serve. She has extensive experience in partnerships and customer service quality assurance. She enjoys picnics in the park with her family, which include her three kids with twins.
Nick Hanson - Creative Communications Lead
Nick is the Communications Lead for H1S. Nick works as a filmmaker, specializing in short-form videos for web and broadcast. He enjoys using his diverse communications skillset to help strengthen and grow our verified network of organizations serving the most vulnerable community members.

Tom Allin, Professor of the Practice at Duke University Sanford School of Public Policy
Tom is a senior fellow and professor at Duke University’s highly selective leadership school, with a focus in human centered design. He previously served as an Obama Administration appointee, where he spearheaded the Veterans Experience Officer at the Department of Veterans Affairs to understand, design and measure Veteran experience. It continues to result in unprecedented quality improvements for the second largest U.S. government agency. Prior, he served in Asia and Europe for over 20 years, where he launched McDonalds in France and led it to be highest grossing market outside of the USA. You can find him enjoying his newly built dream home with his wife in Durham, NC, along with his visiting children and grandkids. Tom is a senior advisor to th H1S team as it relates to strategic direction.
Chris Teitzel, Founder and CEO of Cellar Door Media Group
Chris Teitzel leads a Seattle based technology and security development company that he founded in 2009. He comes from a legacy of technology, as both his grandfather and father were 30-year veterans of IBM. His individual expertise as a third-generation technology professional is already well-proven. One of the smartphone applications his company developed climbed into the top 10 iPhone applications out of thousand in the iTunes marketplace. He also holds an appointment by the Secretary of the Department of Homeland Security on the Federal Advisory Committee for Data Privacy. He helps provide guidance and oversight to benefit the secure technological components.
Sarah Lindsay, Telemedicine Director, Wellmed Medical Management
Sarah Lindsay has an executive level healthcare administration level background. She was responsible for one of the largest teleservice rollouts in the nation, while maintaining strict HIPAA compliant standards. She is also an Air Force Reserve Officer, where she manages Defense Healthcare records, which includes coaching patient administration leaders across 76 Air Force hospitals globally, ensuring compliance with regulatory guidance as it pertains to health information management. She provides ongoing leadership training and consultation on information security for HopeOneSource.
Harry Kim, Commander, United States Navy Civil Engineer Corps
Harry Kim is currently a commander in the Civil Engineer Corps of the United States Navy working at the Pentagon. He holds a Masters in Architecture from the University of Pennsylvania and a Bachelor of Arts in Geography and Urban Planning from the State University of New York at Binghamton (SUNY). Harry is a member of the American Institute of Architects and currently serving on the Board of Directors of the San Diego chapter of the Society of American Military Engineers (SAME). He helps provide strategic design and implementation to benefit Hope With Love’s organizational vision to connect more vulnerable people to nearby verified services.
Chris Burnett, Partnership Lead Strategist, Q2 Impact
Chris leads the defense market for a DC-based consulting firm focused on improving U.S. foreign assistance programming. He previously served as a senior defense policy advisor, strategy consultant, and business developer. As a senior advisor to the Chief Digital and Artificial Intelligence Office in the U.S. Department of Defense, Chris led international engagement with close defense allies to advance data analytics and AI adoption. He also served as Chief of Staff for the Deputy Assistant Secretary of Defense for Global Partnerships, supporting the Office of the Under Secretary of Defense for Policy. Prior to his government service, Chris was a business development growth lead for LMI Consulting's Defense OSD market and supported various federal clients as a senior strategy consultant. He currently provides growth and strategy support to H1S and staff.
Odie Donald, Chief of Staff, Atlanta, Georgia
Odie Donald is Augusta Georgia’s City Administrator, overseeing all of the city’s daily administrative duties. Formerly, he was appointed by the DC Mayor as Washington, DC’s Department of Employment Service Director, overseeing the city’s operational programs that provide services to employers, employees, and job-seekers, including -- job training, workers’ compensation, and unemployment compensation. Odie was selected as Georgia’s Top 40 under 40 leaders by “Georgia Trend”, a well recognized magazine on the state’s economic development and politics. Elizabeth Jia, Digital Marketing & Content Corporate Strategist, Freddie Mac
Elizabeth Jia is a content strategist for articles, social media, podcast, video, apps, live TV + brand experiences. She has a Masters in Journalism from Georgetown University and a Bachelors in Journalism and Broadcast from the University of Maryland College Park. She has +15 years of experience that includes producing engaging articles/visuals to boost viewership -- achieving #1 most page view ranks. She is passionate for progress in housing finance, telehealth and blockchain for social impact. Through this passion, she provides HopeOneSource with strategic communication direction.
